Event Overview:

Shakespeare in the Garden - "The Rover" - Aug. 1

Sunday, Aug. 1, 4 p.m. Shakespeare in the Garden - "The Rover" We invite you to enjoy the popular Restoration comedy, "The Rover," written by the English author Aphra Behn. "The Rover" appeared on the stage in 1677, and it was popular enough that a second part appeared in 1681. Funding for the Shakespeare program has been made possible, in part, by funds from the Arts Council of the Morris Area through the New Jersey State Council on the Arts/Department of State, a Partner Agency of the National Endowment for the Arts. We look forward to welcoming you to the event. Feel free to bring a blanket or chair. We are pleased to offer accessible restroom facilities during garden events this summer. If there is inclement weather, the programs will be moved inside the museum.
