Gozaic Fact Sheet

What Is Gozaic?
Gozaic is the premier online community where people find and share heritage- and culture-rich experiences, and share the stories that shape our common experience. The website showcases the broad range of destinations, venues and events that define the collective past and provide context for personal connections. Gozaic.com promotes the economic vitality of heritage and cultural destinations by providing focused and effective exposure to heritage- and culture-minded travelers.

Ownership
Gozaic.com is the website of Heritage Travel Inc., a for-profit subsidiary of the National Trust for Historic Preservation. The National Trust is the founder, parent organization and principal investor in Heritage Travel.

Components of Gozaic
Explore helps people research cultural and heritage travel destinations, sites, events and activities. People can also search based on interests (e.g., civil war history, art deco architecture, etc.) and read member reviews. In Explore, travelers can book guided tours. Gozaic members can share reviews and photos of sites and destinations.

Connect uses social networking technology to foster interaction and the sharing of information based on common interests. Circles of interest allow people to share and learn about a specific topic such as Civil War, Family Heritage Travel, Cycling Through History, Hidden American and more.

Additionally, My Gozaic is personalized for each member and houses the individual member profile, photos, friends and circle memberships.
